Despite the challenges of COVID-19, almost 80 people have joined our membership since the end of lockdown.

We have around 700 playing and social members and continue to attract top national and regional events together with visiting parties from far and wide – not just because of our championship-standard golf course, but also our fantastic clubhouse facilities with stunning views.

We’re looking for a Clubhouse Hospitality and Catering Manager who shares our passion and commitment to provide members and visitors with a great clubhouse experience which makes them want to keep coming back.

As a contracted provider you’ll employ your own bar and restaurant team. You’ll work closely with the club’s management team – bringing fresh ideas and delivering an attractive food and drink offering for the benefit of the golf club and yourself.

    • Chesterfield Golf Club is a private members club established in 1897. It is considered one of the most prestigious venues in the region. It has a busy golfing calendar with a substantial number of golf and other social functions centered in and around the clubhouse, with considerable opportunity for further expansion.

    - Marketing initiatives including contributions to ideas, social media and web campaigns as well as all other forms of marketing

    • Family accommodation is provided as part of the contract with water, gas, electricity and internet services provided.

    The facilities

    •  The Club has a fully fitted kitchen, cellar and bar together with lounge bar, snug and restaurant areas with capacity for approximately 150 persons which may be inspected by appointment.

    • Bar snacks daily
    • Lunches and meals for members and visitors
    • Catering for events including funerals, parties etc., by agreement with the Club
    • Themed events by agreement with the Club
    • A program of entertainment
